During an Eagle Scout campout at Halape, Hawaii, eleven young man have their survival skills tested. Howling Dogs are a bad omen and the prophecy comes true when the campers first endure an earthquake and then a tsumani. This book is based on a true story.

This is a really good book. I did think it was pretty boring until about halfway through but then things really picked up. Overall a good read and if you are a boy scout you may like it a lot more than I did. I think the fact that these events really happened makes it amazing and a story worth being told.
